DO YOU HAVE A PRICE LIST?

We only have a price list for our grading services.

For pattern cutting, sampling or production, we feel that a price list could be more misleading than helpful. We understand that you would need to know our price range, therefore we offer to all of our potential clients a free no obligation quote.

WHAT INFORMATION DO YOU NEED FROM ME TO PROVIDE ME WITH A QUOTE?

If you are would like to use our pattern cutting or sampling services and do not have a tech pack developed yet, then please email sketches or any inspirational images with a brief garment description, which should include

• the fabric you intend to use

• seam finish

• linings and interlinings

If you would like to enquire about production prices at that stage you should have a full tech pack developed.  Please email it to us along with the possible production order.

In either case please let us know when you intend to start work and when you would need to receive delivery of the finished garments.

DO YOU CHARGE VAT?

Yes, Plus Samples Ltd is registered for VAT. Our VAT Registration Number is……
All the prices are subject to VAT at the current rate. With every completed order our clients receive a detailed VAT invoice.

DO YOU DO COLLECTIONS AND DELIVERIES?

We could book a courier to collect or deliver your items. However we are not responsible for goods in transit. All the shipping and delivery charges will be added to the final invoice.

CAN YOU SUPPLY ANY MATERIALS?

We could supply interlinings, stay tapes, shoulder pads and any other basic trimmings  for sampling and production but this will incur additional charges. We have a vast choice of stitching threads in various colours and thickness and these are provided free of charge.

If you need any specific thread colours which we don’t already have in stock, we would ask you to supply us with these.
We are able to suggest suppliers for different components. Please check our useful links page for some suggestions.

CAN I ORDER MY FABRICS TO BE DIRECTLY DELIVERED TO YOU?

If it’s a sampling length of fabric, swatches, a small trimmings order and it doesn’t require customs clearance we would be happy to accept your package. Please make sure it’s correctly labelled with our address, company name and your name and style identification as a reference. It’s always advisable to issue a delivery note.

For a bulk fabric order, please discuss with us first. We have to make sure we have adequate storage space and that it doesn’t present a Health and Safety hazard.

You would need to arrange customs clearance if necessary as we are unable to provide this service. We are not responsible for your items during transit or the condition that they might arrive in.

COULD I HAVE A MEETING WITH YOU TO DISCUSS MY PROJECT OUT OF WORK HOURS?

We could make an exception for one-off meeting or consultation, but you have to be aware that we wouldn’t be prepared to do this on an ongoing basis.

We tend to have a very intense work schedule during the day and feel that evening and weekend breaks are extremely important for our productivity and efficiency during normal working hours.

WHAT’S YOUR PAYMENT TERMS? CAN YOU OFFER A CREDIT ACCOUNT?

We would need to have cleared funds within our account prior to garment collection. Unfortunately we do not offer credit facilities and all our payments are on a payment before collection basis.

I CAN’T COME AND PICK UP MY GARMENTS. CAN YOU ARRANGE DELIVERY AND I MAKE A PAYMENT AFTER I RECEIVED THEM?

I’m afraid we would have to insist on full payment, including shipping charges, prior delivery. We would be happy to email you images of your garments for your prior approval.

IF I CHANGE MY MIND ABOUT SLEEVE LENGTH AFTER YOUR FINISH WORK ON MY SAMPLE WOULD YOU BE ABLE TO ALTER THAT TO REQUIRED LENGTH?

Yes, we could alter the garment but extra charges will be accrued for the alteration. If you have any concerns please let us know before we finish your garments, to avoid extra charges.

Any alteration will appear on your invoice as a separate item.

HOW DO YOU KNOW HOW LONG IT WILL TAKE TO MAKE MY DRESS SAMPLES?

All of the garments and patterns we produce at the studio have an individual timesheet. Each member of staff will log the amount of hours that have been spent on each garment, alongside the work description, in the corresponding timesheet.

Each member of staff has a timer to monitor the time taken for each stage of work.

When the garment is finished, at your request, we could provide you with a copy of the time sheet, for the garments or patterns we produced for you.
